1. 90-day free trial
- Every restaurant gets 90 days free, with full access to the Service, before any payment is asked for.
- No card or advance payment is taken to start the trial, and nothing is charged automatically when it ends.
- The trial exists so you can test RestroBeat with your real menu, staff and orders and decide whether it suits your restaurant before you pay.
2. No refunds on subscription fees
Because the 90-day free trial lets every restaurant fully evaluate the Service first, all subscription fees paid by Restaurant Owners are final and non-refundable. This applies to:
- Annual and monthly plans, including any unused months or days of a paid period.
- Fees for additional outlets.
- Downgrades, outlet closures, or closing your account part-way through a period.
- Periods in which the Service was not used, or used less than planned.
No partial refunds, pro-rata refunds or credits are given, except as set out in "Exceptions" below.
3. Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel at any time by writing to [support@your-domain] from your registered email, or by raising a support ticket in the app.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If you do not pay after the trial, nothing is charged; your account is simply marked payment-due and access may be limited.
- You can export your reports and accounting files before your access ends. Data retention after closure is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Exceptions
We will refund or adjust a subscription payment only when:
- Duplicate payment — the same invoice was paid twice. The extra amount is refunded or credited.
- Wrong amount — you were charged more than the invoiced amount through an error on our side. The excess is refunded.
- Required by law — where a refund is required by applicable law or a court or Consumer Commission order.
Report such a payment within 30 days, with the payment reference. Approved amounts are returned to the original payment method or bank account within 7–10 working days of approval. Bank and gateway charges, if any, may be deducted where the error was not ours.
5. Refunds for guests ordering from restaurants
When a guest pays online for a takeaway order, the money goes straight to the restaurant's own payment gateway or UPI account — not to RestroBeat. Refunds for food orders are therefore the restaurant's responsibility, and RestroBeat provides the tools for them:
- Order rejected by the restaurant — the full amount paid is refunded.
- Dishes removed or unavailable — the difference between what was paid and the new bill is refunded.
- Paid by card, netbanking or UPI through Razorpay — the refund is sent automatically to the original payment method. Banks usually credit it within 5–7 working days.
- Paid directly to the restaurant's UPI ID — the restaurant returns the money to the guest by UPI itself.
- Payment not completed — if a payment is not confirmed within 30 minutes, the order is not placed. Any amount debited by the bank for a failed payment is normally reversed by the bank or gateway.
For food quality, missing items or other complaints about an order, please contact the restaurant directly. If you cannot reach them, write to us and we will pass your complaint on.
6. Table bookings
Table bookings through RestroBeat are free for guests, so there is nothing to refund. Any deposit or cancellation charge asked for by a restaurant is set and handled by that restaurant.
